We really had an issue with moving inmates around the compound because we knew, as far as security goes, that's a high liability. And I've actually had patients tell me that they don't want to talk or be as open with me because they feel that they're going to be overheard. And so when they are in the visitation booth, they feel more private and secure, and they're able to be more open and honest and get the treatment that they need. Ease of use has been a critical factor in the program's success, allowing seamless adoption across various services. The virtual visitation system really helps us be efficient and time-saving. We're able to easily schedule patients. It's just a few clicks of the mouse on the system. The system's easy to navigate. For training, we were provided with guides that have screenshots, and it's very laid out step-by-step of how to use the system. And then when you get into the system, it's very easy to use. It's not confusing. In fact, if I've been away from the system for a while, getting back into it is no problem. And when I'm training others on how to use it, it's very simple. Since launching the virtual visitation program, the Polk County Sheriff's Office has seen widespread adoption across multiple services, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from legal professionals, mental health providers, and inmates. Once we started sharing the system and adding people, we knew that they could benefit just like we did. And we got over 160-something of those now. They all say it's very easy to use.
